The model is compared with the profile the node recorded. AVG288 DEV = ⌊Σ last 287 intervals (clamped 1…86,400 s)/287⌋ − 600; inside ±15 s bitsQ is held, otherwise it steps 0.5 / 1 / 2 / 3 % (15–60 / 60–120 / 120–240 / >240 s). Burst = % of the last 72 intervals under 300 s; volatility = stdev of the last 72 intervals ÷ 600.
