An atomic swap locks your SOST in a self-custodial lockbox (an HTLC) that has exactly two exits: the counterparty can take it only by revealing a secret that also releases your funds on the other chain, or — if nobody completes in time — the lockbox refunds you. No custodian ever holds your money, and the two legs either both happen or neither does.
Status meanings: Available = usable by anyone. Founder testing = wired up but the contract is undeployed & unaudited, so it's founder-only. Coming soon = not yet built. An earlier version of this line said "BTC lands with V15": V15 activated at block #25,000 and Bitcoin is still OFF — the BTC leg needs its own activation (real bitcoind validation plus the operator enabling it) and is not enabled in the official binaries. Disabled = intentionally off (unsafe token type). Right now nothing is Available — this is a preview.
